A long runner measuring approximately 420 cm by 81 cm, featuring a classic jaldar layout with repeating diamond-shaped guls and framed borders. Its elongated proportions make it a great fit for a hallway, entry corridor, or galley kitchen, and it can also run alongside a bed or down a landing.
About this design
Jaldar rugs feature a very soft and luxurious pile, and are commonly woven in Pakistan. They can easily be confused with Pakistani Bokhara rugs, which have a very similar construction and feel. Jaldar, however, feature more angular, diamond shaped guls, as opposed to the more rounded guls found on Bokhara. This particular rug also features a 'silk touch' - some of the design highlights are silk pile.
