Approximately 289 cm x 207 cm, this rug features a red field with geometric medallions and a strong border, accented by cream, blue, and yellow details. Its generous size makes it well suited to a living room or under a medium dining table, adding bold, classic pattern to the space.
About this design
Named after the city of Kazak (also spelt Qazax) in modern-day Azerbaijan, Kazak rugs feature distinctive geometric patterns, and are often red, cream, blue or gold in colour. Super Kazak rugs utilize similar designs, but are constructed with superior pile and a finer finish. Kazak rugs knotted in Afghanistan are often referred to as Afghan Ghazni.
