Approximately 301 x 199 cm, this rug features a classic geometric medallion design on a grey ground with patterned borders and accents of cream, red, and blue. Its generous size makes it well suited to a living room or placed under a 6-seater dining table.
About this design
Named after the city of Kazak (also spelt Qazax) in modern-day Azerbaijan, Kazak rugs feature distinctive geometric patterns, and are often red, cream, blue or gold in colour. Super Kazak rugs utilize similar designs, but are constructed with superior pile and a finer finish. Kazak rugs knotted in Afghanistan are often referred to as Afghan Ghazni.
