    Approximately 201 x 90 cm runner with a rich red field featuring repeating geometric medallions and neatly framed borders in darker accents. Its slim, elongated size makes it ideal for a hallway, entryway, or beside a bed.

    About this design

    Kunduz rugs share similar colours and patterns to Khal Mohammadi rugs, but are of finer quality with tidy knotting and smooth, almost velvety pile. You will frequently see Kunduz rugs with a small section of flat-woven 'kilim' at either end, next to the fringes. They are hand-knotted in the Kunduz region of northern Afghanistan.
