    Approximately 194 cm x 90 cm, this narrow runner showcases a rich red field with repeating geometric and floral motifs, framed by patterned borders in dark accents. Its elongated shape makes it ideal for a hallway, entryway, or alongside a kitchen or bedroom walkway.

    About this design

    Kunduz rugs share similar colours and patterns to Khal Mohammadi rugs, but are of finer quality with tidy knotting and smooth, almost velvety pile. You will frequently see Kunduz rugs with a small section of flat-woven 'kilim' at either end, next to the fringes. They are hand-knotted in the Kunduz region of northern Afghanistan.
