Approximately 101 cm x 56 cm, this kazak-style rug features bold geometric medallions and stepped borders in a multi-colour palette. Its compact size makes it a great accent for an entryway, beside a bed, or in front of a console table.
About this design
Named after the city of Kazak (also spelt Qazax) in modern-day Azerbaijan, Kazak rugs feature distinctive geometric patterns, and are often red, cream, blue or gold in colour. Super Kazak rugs utilize similar designs, but are constructed with superior pile and a finer finish. Kazak rugs knotted in Afghanistan are often referred to as Afghan Ghazni.
