A small bokhara design with a cream ground featuring repeating geometric guls and a framed border. Approximately 65 cm x 45 cm, it is well suited as an indoor accent in an entryway.
About this design
These rugs are named after the Bokhara (also spelt Bukhara) region in Uzbekistan. The design features a repeated geometric design, often referred to as the elephant print. The design shares many similarities with the Turkoman 'Tekke' design. Modern Bokhara rugs are commonly hand woven in Pakistan, and feature soft and luxurious pile.
